PennStress, a division of the MacInnis Group, LLC was formerly known as Newcrete Products, a division of New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. Servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. PennStress is a Prestressed/Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) Certified Manufacture of (A1 – Architectural Precast Concrete Products, B4 – Prestressed Deflected Strand Bridge Beams, and C4 – Prestressed Deflected Strand Structural Members). All of these categories are the highest levels of precast/prestressed certifications from PCI.  Additionally, PennStress is a member of the National Precast Concrete Association. 

The manufacturing facility, located in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, maintains roughly 250,000 square feet of enclosed production space. The indoor space includes prestressing beds, a batch plant, aggregate storage areas, carpentry/steel fabrication shops, reinforcing steel & material storage, and many other weather protected, environmentally controlled systems/spaces to allow for high-quality products to be cast year-round. The plant includes multiple casting bed locations for both prestressed and precast products. 

The facility was originally PCI Certified in 1958 and has been supplying projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Washington D.C. Project owners include departments of transportation and department of corrections, on a federal, state and local level respectively; stadium authorities, parking authorities, private owners, and various developers.  PennStress also has participated in several design-build and design-assist projects to fit the owner's specific needs.
